Wednesday 4th February 2012.......
Well its been a while, the Christmas Fayre on November 19th was amazing, again filled with lots of sparkly glittery homemade jewelry, divine cupcakes, amazing gift ideas, handbags to inspire and rival any designer label and of course our resident Eco Pixies making bird feeders and popcorn and cranberry decorations which could be placed for the birds after Christmas.
From there Christmas rapidly approached along with the growing sadness that my Pop's health was declining, sadly i cancelled the February Fayre as we were approaching the last days and I wanted to be with my family at that time and we were all there when he passed which was an amazing spiritual yet sad time. He repeatedly told me to peruse my own happiness and to be true to myself. Again this is the essence of why I started the fayres, to create my own cards and gifts but also to gather alongside like minded people, share talents, stories and of course a cuppa and a tantalizing cupcake! the last year has taught me life is too short, we need to live every day, enjoy everyday and smell the coffee everyday. On my wedding day I gave my husband a beautifully engraved hip flask with the following saying 'Life isn't measured by how many breathes we take but by how many moments take our breath away!' Such simplicity abounds so I invite you to join us at Neath Town Hall and I wish that you be amazed, be inspired, be pampered and be refreshed!

Wednesday 21st September...
We had a wonderful time at the Fayre and I have to thank everybody for coming, it was lovely to see my dream a reality. We've had lots of positive feedback, and it was fabulous to see Neath Town Hall filled with talented and amazing crafters, healers, spiritual readers and speakers, the atmosphere was stunning, filled with the aroma of homemade soaps, joss sticks and coffee.
Our very own eco pixie Sue was there planting acorns with children, as the saying goes 'from tiny acorns mighty oak trees grow' which is beautifully apt for children to decorate their own pots and plant the seed of their hopes and dreams, but then you can argue why should such fun be restricted to children! I have a plaque with the saying 'if we planted a seed for every time we thought of you, our garden would grow forever.' I adore this saying, but it is true and that is how the craft fayre got started, it was my tiny acorn and is now growing, I water it with love, pinknes and fairy dust along with a dash of nuttiness and a riot of colour!
The next fayre is on Saturday 19th November, we look forward to seeing you there, lots of gifts for Christmas and more, be amazed, be inspired, be pampered and be refreshed!
Friday 16th September.....
Well, its not long to go now unitl the next Craft and Holistic Fayre 17th September and things at Pilipala HQ are getting busy! The September Fayre is going to be amazing, we have an exciting number of stalls and inspirational speakers so I thought I would keep you posted as to who will be there .......
The biggest news this week is that we got chickens, oh my! So we are blessed with fresh eggs and lots of chicken manure for our compost heap and garden, I am very lucky that husbi is an engineering genius and built a chicken coop that we have named Chickenopolis and yes yours truly painted it PINK!! Yes you read right, pink, with brown doors! They are a great source of amusement and we hope to get a web cam in the coop so we can share with you. Our chickens are Eira and Em, a white one and a dark brown one with a tint of peacock green on her upper feathers.
Anyway, I digress, here at Pili HQ we are finalising the programme for tomorrows Fayre, we have an eccletic mix of crafts, gifts, therapies and spiritual stalls. We have also found a quiet corner at Neath Town hall that we have renamed Speakers Corner, not original I admit but here is the schedule so you know who's who and what happening.
